#林道探索 (libut hansum)

After tasting the tribal lunch, a group of people set foot on the Shuanglong Forest Road, which guards the Bunun people, and the guide reminds the tourists to slow down and walk leisurely in the forest road.

In the ecological forest canopy forest, you can feel the afternoon sun becoming much gentler. Through the guidance of ecological plant experts and fragrance teachers, an exploration of spice plants with Taiwanese characteristics began.

Walking to the forest of Ma Gao, the fragrance teacher plucked the Ma Qiao leaves and distributed them to each tourist, the guide first gently kneaded them with his fingertips, and then sniffed the unique spice of Taiwan with the tip of his nose.

This vibrant, charming lemon aroma makes people feel refreshed.

Paired with the brisk sound of insects and birds, you can feel the deepest sense of comfort and relaxation.

Director Xiang went on to say, how could you come to Bunong without tasting the Bunun-style afternoon tea dessert “Moon Peach Cake”?

This is a small snack prepared by the ancestors of Bunun when they go out hunting, and tourists taste the snack with the aroma of moon peaches, and once again experience Bunun’s intentions and hospitality through the five senses.

After enjoying the snacks, on the road back to the forest, the sound guide asked each person to check a small shale stone chip, reminding everyone to start quickly when they see what they like, and they can’t go back to check, they can only go forward.

#布農星空晚餐 (Subject: MAKAVA)

In the evening, you can enjoy a 270-degree view of the Damashan tribe and a glass of Bunun-style low-alcohol concoction in hand. With the fiery sunset as the curtain, the overture to the dinner was unveiled.

Then, a long table dinner arranged with tribal ingredients and Bunun fabrics, combined with food and tribal youth music performances, drew a perfect end to the first day.

#馬告香水DIY體驗

The first activity after breakfast was for each person to make a bottle of their own perfume.

This Sun Moon Lake Dama tribe, in the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Management Office, carried out a plan called tribal industry upgrading. The goal is to create a tribal perfume industry.

Through the course of the fragrance art teacher, the people are taught to learn how to soak and extract the fragrance of Mague, which is used as the base of perfume to create the world’s first Chinese Bunun Magao perfume, which is expected to be released in October 2020.

All the visitors were amazed by the art of a diffuser installation engraved with their own name on the perfume table, and the shale that everyone saw on the diffuser was inspected by themselves yesterday when they were in Lindao.

There is an experience called a sense of ceremony, and this diffuser stone is the beginning of DIY Ma Gong perfume, first introduced by the Bunon perfume teacher, and the connection with Ma Gong life.

From the process of turning the fruit into a perfume, to the understanding of the pre, middle and back notes of the Golden Triangle of perfumery; Citrus and sweet orange are the top notes,

The horse is the main middle tone, and the forest and pine are the back notes.

Then, in front of the photo wall of the black, white and red triangle installation full of Bunun elements, the first bottle of Ma Yue perfume and the Bunun style diffuser stone engraved with his name began to leave a perfect olfactory record for this journey.

For me, this trip can be said to be a fragrance journey beyond the five senses, and how to tell a story through ritual, this bottle of DIY Bunon Macho perfume is the best example.
